Growing up on an avocado farm builds character, work ethic, establishes values, responsibility, and nurtures the skill of working together. Yes, Mike was raised on an avocado farm, one in which his dad still farms at 89 years young! Over 15 varieties and shipping to markets such as Publix and Winn-Dixie nationwide. Farm life taught Mike that no task or goal is too difficult. Where there is a will, there is a way. His dad was/is the epitome of a hard worker, having started an avocado farm while also flying for Delta Air Lines for 30 years. Mike learned the value of hard work from a very early age, actively helping on the farm from age six until college graduation.
