Crescent Lake Park Near Downtown St Petersburg
Published on 01/31/21: I joked in my last post about Colt saying he wanted to go watch me eat oysters and drink an adult beverage. However, what he really said was “let’s go to Crescent Lake Park!”. So we made it a win-win yesterday by also spending time at one of our favorite parks, located just 5 minutes from downtown St Pete.
With acres upon acres of green space, Crescent Lake park is frequented by people throwing the frisbee, football, having picnics, striking yoga poses, riding bikes, jogging (sidewalk runs thru the park) and much more. Of course the lake itself makes for a beautiful backdrop for all of those activities!
Colt’s favorite aspect is the playground, with lots of options to keep little ones busy. I included a few pics of the playground here.
There’s also of course a great neighborhood adjacent to the park. This is an area I mention to clients who are not searching for waterfront, want to be close to downtown, yet not pay the price tag of for instance Old Northeast.
