Kristina’s Cafe in St Petersburg – Breakfast Served All Day
Published on 02/13/23: Kristina’s Cafe in St Pete! Family owned and operated since 2001. Anyone familiar? With over 4,000 Google reviews and a 4.5/5 star average, Colt and I had to check it out, indulging in breakfast for dinner! Note there’s also a dog friendly patio outside, everyone wins.
I wanted to write-up Kristina’s last week, though shifted gears and headed to ol’ Auburn AL for 4 days. I joined another St Pete local to represent our St Pete-Clearwater Auburn Affiliate Non-Profit at a conference. Raising scholarship funds for Pinellas students. Whether you attended Florida, FSU, USF, UCF, Bama or anywhere else, I certainly share a common passion for the college experience. Can I get a “Go Gators”, “Go Noles”, “War Eagle”, “Roll Tide” or others?
Breakfast and Brunch in St Petersburg with Often No Wait – Kristina’s Cafe
Alright, so while we love places like Noble Crust for brunch, and they’re well deserving of weekend lines, our family needs alternatives in our back pocket. Places we can visit spontaneously, without a long wait, nor reservation on weekends.
Kristina’s is very casual, no glitz and glam, simply a focus on comfort food. Colt and I chose to eat “breakfast for dinner” on a weeknight and had no wait. I’m told weekend mornings are fairly quick as well. Anyone been on a Saturday or Sunday?
Breakfast For Dinner at Kristina’s Cafe in St Petersburg
I’m glad we finally stopped in! We each had a delicious breakfast at 6:30pm. I opted for the country fried steak and Colt had pancakes. Amy had us bring her ‘to-go’, opting for the open-faced roast beef sandwich and mashed potatoes. All were delicious! Check it out and help show this locally owned business some love. Colt says to mention that the tables are great for LEGO too, haha.
Colt Paid Up for Our Mistake
Our to-go order did have a snafu *unrelated* to the restaurant. As we wrapped up, I caught the waitress’s eye to place Amy’s sandwich order. It happened at the same time she was nearing another table to take their order. Simply awkward timing, as it felt we were jumping in front of a couple others. Especially as much as I’m on Colt about “waiting your turn”, “ladies first”. Long story short, we apologized, though I hope the cashier passed along our apologies as well. (Colt gave a little $ to cashier to pay for daughter’s meal)
