Published on 12/04/23: If only Clark Griswold had known about the amazing “Robert’s Christmas Wonderland” store. His Christmas display would have been way more Bing Crosby than Cousin Eddie. This huge year-round shop is located just 20-25 minutes north of downtown St Petersburg and is “one of America’s Largest and Most Beautiful Christmas & Collectibles Stores”. Who’s familiar or enjoys decorating?

A Tampa Bay Christmas Tradition

While Robert’s Christmas Wonderland has been a Tampa Bay family tradition since 1972, admittedly this was our first visit!? LovingStPete once again nudges me toward father-son activities I might not normally tackle. And “no ragrets”, not even one letter.

Saturday, we made a father-son adventure out of Snow Fest downtown, Robert’s, and another spot Colt VERY much enjoyed. Great day. More to come on that last one…

Robert’s Christmas World…became Christmas Wonderland

Originally this was Robert’s Christmas World and located on Highway 19 in Pinellas Park, open seasonally. Then in 1990, it merged with a store at the current location named “Christmas Wonderland”. A store that sold Christmas decorations and above-ground swimming pools. Quite the interesting combo!

With the merger of the two stores, “Robert’s Christmas Wonderland” was born as we know it today! Open year-round with a selection of ornaments, collectibles and gifts numbering into the thousands.
