The Shapeshifter mission is certainly aligned with LovingStPete. “We want to encourage a love for the outdoors, the same way we had growing up. Life for kids is so different now. There are so many distractions, so many electronics for mindless play, and so many reasons not to go outside.”

“We remember playing outdoors from the time we got home from school, until the sun went down… and we learned a LOT, but the biggest thing we learned was how to MAKE FRIENDS. Friendship is the foundation of a healthy childhood, successful partnerships, and thriving communities. And kids today NEED encouragement to do this. But what is also different now is all of the data we didn’t have back then on the importance of sun protection. And we know how hard it is to get kids to wear sunblock, so we created a line of sun protection KIDS WANT TO WEAR. Our mission is to create something that supports less screen time for more play time, reiterates how important being outside and getting Vitamin D is (but safely), and to create an environment that encourages friendship.”
