Who knows Skyway Jack’s St. Petersburg? Finally visited and now understand why this breakfast institution (since 1976) has been recommended by so many Loving St Pete followers!

Checking in with 3400+ reviews and 4.5/5 stars on Google, this casual breakfast and lunch spot is certainly loved by many. Far from one of my ‘hidden gem’ posts. After all, Skyway Jack’s was even featured on the Food Network.
My “Whistle Stop” order was delicious, with two poached eggs over fried green tomatoes and chopped bacon on an English muffin covered in hollandaise. Colt loved his meal too! “Southern French Toast” consisting of cream cheese, orange marmalade & pecans between two slices of bread, grilled, served w/ honey-orange sauce.
Skyway Jack’s offers very casual dining with a comfortable atmosphere and a huge menu. This includes many eggs benedict options, omelets, country fried steak, fisherman’s special, steak & eggs, skillets, French toast, waffles, pancakes, and SO much more. Something for everyone, including salads and numerous lunch options.
Skyway Jack’s appears to be the breakfast and lunch equivalent of Cheers. The place where everybody knows your name. We noted no less than 6 solo regulars, joining other regulars at the bar seating. A constant rotation during our breakfast.
As to my limited posts these last 5 weeks….moving stinks.😬 In between helping real estate clients, which I love, we’ve been tackling projects at our new home, which I don’t love. I posted some on my “stories”. Tasks continued popping up, even when I thought we were done.
That being said, I’m especially grateful for those who continue to follow an account that’s a bit different. Long write-ups, limited reels/posts, etc. Goal is to post more frequently, as it gets Colt and I out and about! Plus, otherwise: “your post was shown to 97 of 42K followers”. Haha. Thank you for continuing to support LovingStPete and local businesses!
