Published on 12/03/22: I covered some upcoming boat parades and golf cart parades in recent posts, now I’ll cover a few more upcoming events! Unfortunately, it’s impossible to cover them all, but that’s because we live in an incredible area with so many options! I included links for more details, times and pricing. Upcoming Christmas and Holiday Events in St Petersburg

Sat, Dec 3rd (today): City of Tampa’s official Tree Lighting at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.

FREE! 1-2:30pm is Christmas parade, 1-4pm is Santa Fest, 4:45-6:30pm is the tree lighting ceremony. Then 6:30-8:30pm is movie in the park (Fred Claus) https://www.tampa.gov/special-events-coordination/news-and-events/Santa-fest

Sat, Dec 3rd (today): Snow Fest in North Straub park from 9am-2pm – $5 Purchase in Advance

Fri, Dec 9th: Boyd Hill Nature Preserve Parents Night out.

Ages 6-12. $25/child. (one of our favorite nature areas!) Games, crafts, present swap, and a short night hike. Kids can wear their favorite winter themed PJs. Register online by Dec 6th: stpeteparksrec.org/parksrecconnect Enter activity code #12204.

Dec 10-11th and Dec 16-23: Santa in the Park. North Straub Park along the water.

Dec 1-25: Twelve Days of Christmas is at Clearwater Beach.

Nov 25-Jan 1st: Enchant, presented by Hallmark Channel.

Taking over Tropicana Field with the worlds largest light maze and village. Ice skating for an addl fee, plus Santa, food, make your own ornament, live music. Tickets start at $35 for adult and $20 for kids (some Wednesdays kids are free) Enchant St Petersburg

Nov 18-Jan 4th: Winter Village in downtown Tampa.

Cafe, market, surprise visits with Santa, free movies, curling, ice skating, movie shown on Dec 16 at 7pm (tbd). Ice skating is not free, online reservations recommended. Winter Village in Tampa

Nov 14-Jan 9th: Christmas Town at Busch Gardens.

Firework light show, ice skating show, holiday train, lots more. Can book online reservations for special events within the park (ie tours). Must purchase ticket. https://buschgardens.com/tampa/events/christmas-town/

Nov 25-Dec 24th: Tampa waterfront light tour on the Pirate Water Taxi.

45 minutes long. Enjoy great views of Downtown Tampa’s best Christmas lights and decorations. Plus “snow flurries”, adult beverages avail for purchase, a pirate elf, letters to Santa and more. Must purchase ticket. Set sail at 6:15pm, 7:15pm, 8:15pm, and 9:15pm.
