Baby Manatee and Mom in St Petersburg, Venetian Isles | Video

Yesterday, as we did our normal boat ‘engine flush’, this adult and baby manatee ventured over! I turned off the water as I wasn’t sure this was the healthiest beverage to have with their dinner. Either way, they had no care in the world that our family (including loud Colt) were in practically arms reach. Love living in the Tampa Bay area!

This ‘baby manatee experience’ doesn’t happen on every LovingStPete Team property tour by boat, though we lucked out yesterday! I mean even if you don’t find the perfect waterfront property, at least you’ll see dolphins and manatees!

(It’s illegal to intentionally give manatees food/water, though I’m not 100% sure in the case of standard boat flushing. Turned it off in case)
