Bishop Museum of Science and Nature in Bradenton

Published on 01/14/21: Just south of St Pete is the city of Bradenton, home of The Bishop Museum of Science and Natural History!

With a great manatee exhibit (watch them from above and below surface), an abundance of local natural history, and a planetarium, we certainly enjoyed our excursion! The museum is two stories tall and has lots packed into it.

An added bonus is the location. By virtue of being directly on the Riverwalk, you’ll park once, visit the museum, and can then enjoy a leisurely walk along the waterfront, scouting dining/drink options. The whole family wins!
