Published on 9/30/20: We recently visited Congo River Golf in Clearwater which has an excellent mini-golf course, alligator feeding/holding opportunity and a game room! A fun experience for the whole family. Colt really enjoyed the alligator feeding and air hockey in addition to the golf. Congo River is located in the southern portion of Clearwater, making for a quick drive from St Pete.
The golf course has tunnels, ‘rivers’ of water and much more – lots of fun! Oh and there’s even a bit of shade mixed in on the course too, so that’s a plus.
For the alligator feeding, you buy a little container of food onsite. You attach pieces of the food onto a clothes pin that’s you dangle from a pole they provide.

An interesting fact about Mike is that he grew up on an avocado farm with over 15 varieties, some of which you can find in our local Publix/Winn Dixie as his dad still farms the same farm at 87 years old!
