About Dr. BBQ: You may have heard of Ray Lampe, the chef behind the restaurant’s concept. Chef Lampe was a judge on shows such as the World Food Championships, Tailgate Warriors w/ Guy Fieri as well as American Grilled! He was also the “spokeschef” for the Big Green Egg brand for 17 years.
Our favorite area in Dr. BBQ is the upstairs patio, overlooking The Trop! While this area is currently being renovated into a Tiki Bar, we’re hopeful it will re-open soon with Tampa Bay Rays season right around the corner! The location can’t be beat for pre or post-game food and drinks!
