St Pete Beach Activities – #BeachTownSeries

Published on 05/08/21: Post 3 of 3 on St. Pete Beach. Post two detailed our favorite two-mile beach stroll of ‘toes in the sand‘ restaurants and bars! Now wrapping up w/ other points of interests on TripAdvisor’s #1 beach in the United States!

Parking in St Pete Beach:

There’s a large Park Mobile lot at 4700 Gulf Blvd. Keep it in mind if you can’t find parking adjacent to your destination.

Public Transportation:

The Free Island Hopper operates along the beach, dependent on your tips. Phone: 727-217-6935.

The Suncoast Beach Trolley operates between PAG and Clearwater Beach. https://bit.ly/3nFCvge

Playgrounds: One directly on the beach (in the sand) by the Sirata Beach Resort. One at Lido Park, 45th Ave and 1st St E (2 acres) and then Horan Park is at 7701 Boca Ciega Drive (4.3 acres). There are others too…

Couple activities to consider:

Polynesian Putter – Mini Golf

Vincent William Gallery – Art from over 45 local and national artists.

Corey Avenue Sunday Market on St. Pete Beach

Swim with the fish in the aquarium at RumFish Grill

Plenty of Watersports around SPB of course too…

In addition to those restaurants on post #2, in no particular order:

Spinners Restaurant and Level 11 Bar atop the Bellwether Beach Resort, formerly the Grand Plaza Hotel. Closed for renovation, however once they re-open in summer, make sure to visit for an amazing view(!) as the restaurant slowly rotates.

Mad Fish Restaurant, St Pete Beach

Snapper’s Sea Grill

1200 Chophouse – Our favorite steak place while living in SPB

PJ’s Oyster Bar, St. Pete Beach

Skidder’s Restaurant – Known for great breakfast (other meals too)

Woody’s Waterfront

Undertow Beach Bar (the couple times we’ve been it was very fun, simply not quite as kid friendly as some other beach bars on list. Might have just been the days we went.)

The Hotel Zamora rooftop (aka ‘360 Rooftop’) on the intracoastal w/ boat dockage

The Drunken Clam Bar & Grille – Wings!

Buoys Waterfront Bar and Grill (boat dockage was being repaired last we heard)

Paradise Grille at Upham Beach – beach shack with picnic tables.

WILLY’s Burgers and BOOZE SPB

Boulevard Burgers & Tap House

Caddy’s St. Pete Beach

Please add your favorite SPB “must do’s” in the comments!
