Admittedly, I had never lived with an indoor cat until I married Amy. Growing up, my parents had several on our avocado farm (and dogs) though know that’s much different. #roamers Well, Amy casually mentioned Sunshine Kitty Catfe this week, so I booked us a 50 minute time slot to check it out.

“The Cat Lounge has been carefully crafted to be a relaxing, therapeutic space to get away from the chaos of the world and also spend time with adoptable cats.”…”Have a beverage while enjoying the company of adoptable cats acquired from our rescue partners. The ‘Cat Lounge’ is a space which provides a relaxed, home-like environment where you’re able to interact with the free-roaming kitties who live there until they get adopted.”

🐱 If you book a session with children, there must be one adult present for every 2 children under the age of 12.

🐱 Bring or wear socks, no shoes inside with the cats. (socks are available for purchase if you forget)

🐱 Try to arrive 5 minutes early so you have time to order drinks and get checked in w/o cutting into your time.

🐱 People may ask where the cats go at night. “The Catfe is their home and this is where they sleep! We are a large-scale foster home for our kitties, so they are never caged or crated.”
